FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about mixing, fees, delays and order status.

Why do I need a bitcoin mixer?

A mixer breaks the link between your transactions before and after using the service. You send bitcoins from your address to the mixer address. The mixer then sends you coins from its pre-mixed reserve that have no connection to your addresses.

An observer analyzing the blockchain cannot tell that ownership changed, so tracking coins after mixing becomes impractical. The mixer ensures transaction anonymity on the blockchain.

The service does not guarantee a low AML risk score. Do not send mixed coins directly to exchanges.

What is the difference between mixer fees?
  • Higher service fees generally mean higher network fees on outgoing payouts.
  • All fee values are dynamic, except the per-address minimum — it is fixed.
  • Higher fees can improve anonymity because they are less common and harder to match by amount analysis.

We recommend choosing a fee above the minimum based on your privacy needs.

I closed the browser. How do I check mixing status?

Copy the transaction hash, the mixer address, or the address you sent from and paste it into any blockchain explorer. If the payment has fewer than three confirmations, the mixer has not received the funds yet — wait for three confirmations.

Payouts are sent after three confirmations and after your chosen delay (countdown starts after the third confirmation). The service may add a short random delay for extra privacy.

My transaction is unconfirmed for a long time. What can I do?

A long wait usually means the network fee was set too low. Options:

  • Wait for confirmation — the mixer will process your order once it confirms (this can take days).
  • Use Replace-by-Fee (RBF) if your wallet supports it. Note: do not use RBF if the mixer address has already expired — contact support instead.
Does the mixer clean bitcoins?

No. The mixer anonymizes transactions by breaking the on-chain link. It does not guarantee a low risk score or that exchanges will accept the coins.

Does BitBlend store logs?

No. BitBlend does not store information about completed transactions. All order data is removed after payouts are sent successfully.

What is the minimum mixing amount?

The minimum deposit is 0.001 BTC per order. With multiple destination addresses the effective minimum may be higher. Check the minimum on the order page before sending.

What is the maximum mixing amount?

It depends on available liquidity at the time of your order. The current limit is shown on the order page next to the deposit address.

Address expired (24h) but my tx is still unconfirmed — will I lose coins?

No. The 24-hour window is when the mixer expects your payment to appear in the network. After that it still waits for confirmations. Mixing completes once your transaction gets three confirmations.

I sent coins after the 24-hour address expiry

Contact support and explain the situation. A refund may be possible. Attach your Letter of Guarantee if you have it.

I sent less than the minimum amount

Contact support. A refund may be possible if technically feasible. Attach your Letter of Guarantee if available.

How does the mixer work?

BitBlend receives your coins and pays out different coins from its reserve, breaking the link between sender and recipient.

Your deposit is mixed in stages. Payouts to your destination addresses come from the mixed reserve and are not tied to your original deposit on-chain.

How to use the mixer?

On the main page, enter one or more destination addresses (a fee applies per address), set delay and service fee, then create the order. Save the guarantee letter and send BTC to the deposit address shown. Check the minimum amount before sending.

Can I trust BitBlend with large amounts?

Our mixing model is tested and production-ready. If you have doubts, start with a smaller amount and scale up once you are comfortable.
